Hi, my sister has ha this problem with heart for a long time. She is 21 ears old and it beets to fast. The hospital say they cant do any more for her. They also mentioned panick atacks. But I don't think so. I take panick attacks myself so I know what i is like. My sister says it feels ike her heart is going to jump out of her chest. She is on beeter blockers for it but some times she forgets to takes them. I think angina was mensioned to but she is only 21 years old. I don't know anything about heart conditions. Any advice would be helpfull. Thank you.
well, for a start, it would be a brilliant idea if she took her betablockers. They're giving them to her for a reason! Maybe try telling her to set a reminder on her phone, so that she can't forget.

I was only 22 when I first found out I had heart problems. My beta blocker does what its supposed to. and if I miss it, I know it. Adjusting to a heart condition has been more difficult for me than adjusting to my blindness or cerebral palsy; it forces you to recognize limits you never knew you had before. Best I can offer is for her to listen to her body and slow down and rest when she needs to and to discuss any problems or concerns with the doctors. They could try a different beta blocker, or a different dosage. When I first started on beta blockers, it took a good 2 months to find a dosage that worked for me, and then I was on that dose for a few years till the stress at work started causing significant heart racing episodes and the docs increased my beta blocker to the dosage I am currently on.
